Shaving Foam Slime (Puffy Slime)

Serving Size:
About 5 gallons
60 Minutes
Easy, needs a lot of water

  • 1 gal of Emer’s Glue (PVA)
  • 6-8 (of more) cans of shaving foam
  • 2 tbs of baking soda
  • 2x 8oz (or bigger) bottles of contact lens solution (must have boric acid in it )
  • Water

  1. Start by mixing the glue with about a gallon of water in a large tub, the tube needs to be big enough that you can mix everything, for small batches a Rubbermaid container works well, large batches a bathtub is best
  2. Add in the backing soda and mix well.
  3. Add the shaving foam (this takes forever with how slowly the cans empty) and mix.
  4. Now start to add the contact lens solution, I normally add both bottles which makes it pretty thick and then add water to thin it to the point I like.

  • While this slime is safe for skin contact it burns like crazy if it gets in your eyes, Use googles.
  • Figure out if you have a reaction to shaving foam before jumping into a tub of this stuff, I have to use the sensitive skin shaving foam because the normal stuff tingles.
  • You can store it for a while if you like, although the foam only seems to last about 24 hours before breaking down, after that you are just left with thick gluey slime which can be fun too.
  • If your nose and month get covered you will not be able to breath, it seems like this should go without saying. This slime is very difficult to clear quickly and if you fill a tub you may have a feeling of suffocation. Just be safe.

Clean Up

The clean up is easy, just shower it off with water. It does burn if it gets in your eyes.
